Where does the name Sidia come from?

SIDIA is named after Erin’s (our Founder & CEO) late-grandmother, Sidia. She inspired Erin through her enduring style, humor, resilience and grit, and her inherent grace left a legacy that serves as the brand's blueprint today; rooted in comfort, design, and inviting women to live unfettered and free from restriction.

Our offices, partner factories & warehouse are located in Toronto, Canada.

Do you offer gift cards?

We do! See here to purchase a SIDIA gift card.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diner’s Club, Paypal and Sezzle.

How does Sezzle work?

Sezzle allows you to split your entire order into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks. At checkout, all you’ll need to do is choose Sezzle as you would any other payment method. You may be directed to a separate window to fill in your information. Purchases with Sezzle are subject to approval.

I have a question about my order, who do I talk to?

If you have any questions about your order, shoot us an email at hi@sidiathebrand.com from Monday to Friday, and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Can I make adjustments to my order after it’s been placed?

We will do our best, but can’t ensure we can edit your order once it’s been placed. If an adjustment needs to be made, please let us know ASAP at hi@sidiathebrand.com

Can I cancel my order after it’s been placed?

Please email us at hi@sidiathebrand.com with the word "Cancel" & your Order #  in the subject line as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that we'll be able to cancel your order once it's been placed, but we will do our best!

If an order has been shipped out, we unfortunately will not be able to cancel your order, but are more than happy to accommodate a return & refund if you are not happy with your purchase. 

What are your Customer Service hours?

Our customer service hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If there is something urgent after hours, please DM us. Thank you for your patience! 

Please note, our team is small and it may take up to 24h to respond to any inquiry.

Product

Where are your items made?

All of our apparel products are made locally, in small batches, in Toronto, Canada.

All our Body Care is made in Toronto, Canada.

All our Hand Care products are made in the USA.

All of our candles are made in the USA and hand poured.

What’s the best way to wash your products?

Wash cold with similar colors, lay flat to dry. Items placed in the dryer may shrink.  

For styles made with natural fibers (Athena, Wild Grace, Gaia), you may notice your item becoming slightly stiff after washing. This is the nature of the fabric - once worn it will immediately begin to soften. 

What are your candles made of?

Each candle is made from a soy-coconut wax blend with a lead-free cotton wick, and formulated with a blend of essential oils, natural & clean synthetic fragrances. 

The vessel is a frosted ombre glass, made in the USA.

Sustainability

Are your candles non-toxic and cruelty free?

Our candles are non-toxic, and free of parabens, sulphates, phthalates and mineral oils, and are vegan + cruelty free.

Why Soy Coconut Wax?

Our candle wax blend is plant-based and derived from environmentally friendly, renewable resources, and produce a non-toxic, clean burn that emits less smoke & soot. 

Coconut and Soy candle waxes are also slow-burning, prolonging the life of your candle, with a superior ability to hold and emit fragrance.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Our candle and headband packaging is made from FSC paper and can easily be disassembled and recycled.

What does OEKO-TEX certified mean?

The majority of our fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified, which is a worldwide consistent, independent testing & certification system that tests for harmful chemicals, both regulated and non-regulated, which may be harmful for human health.

SIDIA is a proud member of 1% for the Planet, meaning 1% of our annual sales annually are donated directly to approved environmental nonprofits. Read more about 1% for the Planet’s initiatives here

Shipping & Returns

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship across Canada and the US.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately we do not ship internationally at this time. This is a goal as we continue to grow - watch this space for updates!

Do you offer Free Shipping?

We are happy to offer free ground shipping on purchases of $90 or more.

I live in Toronto, would I be able to pick up my package?

At this time, we do not offer curbside pickup for sidiathebrand.com orders.

When will my order ship?

Once your order has been placed, it will be processed at our warehouse within 1-3 business days.

When will my order arrive?

Shipping times are dependent on your location - if you’re on the east coast it will generally take between 3-5 days. If you’re living on the west coast, it can take between 4-10 days for arrival once your order ships from our warehouse.

Please note more rural or remote locations are subject to longer delivery times.

My order is delayed - can you help me?

We are more than happy to help! Email us with your Order Number at hi@sidiathebrand.com for more information on your order.

What is your return policy?

We hope you love your SIDIA products, but in the case you do not, please email our team athi@sidiathebrand.comto start the return process. Once a team member confirms the reason for return and verifies your order information, you will be sent a label to initiate the return process. You must ship back their items via return label provided, with the original packing slip included in the box. Without this, we cannot guarantee your refund/exchange will be processed.

My Order Is Damaged

Upon arrival of your SIDIA package, please check for any damage that may have occurred during the shipping process. While we try our best to label accordingly, sometimes shipping boxes can get a normal level of wear throughout the travel from us to you. If your box has been damaged, please carefully inspect the package to ensure your SIDIA product(s) have not been harmed. If your product(s) arrive damaged, please share a photo of the condition and document the situation with our team immediately athi@sidiathebrand.com, so we can properly document the issue, preventing future occurrences. Carefully discard of the damaged contents and/or item(s).

SOS - My package is lost!

We allow 2 weeks for your package to deliver from the date your package leaves the warehouse. If the package does not move within 2 weeks, you can email hi@sidiathebrand.com and we will file a claim with the shipping company.

Holiday Shipping & Returns

  • To ensure your USA package arrives before December 25th, all USA orders must be placed before December 13th.
  • To ensure your CAN package arrives before December 25th, all Canada orders must be placed before December 15th.
  • Orders received between November 1st, 2023 through to December 24th, 2023 are eligible for free returns until January 8th, 2024.
  • The GRWM Collection including apparel is final sale.
